30th Generation Grand Master Shi Suxi (1924 - 2006)

The ex-president of the Shaolin Temple and one of the last monks of the elder generations. He was revered for his knowledge and skill in both Martial Arts and Chan Buddhism. Shi Su Xi devoted 70 years of his life to the Shaolin Temple and endured many hardships in order to preserve the traditions of Shaolin.

31st Generation Great Master Shi Defon

Great Master Shi De Fon trained under Grand Master Shi Su Xi and later Shi Su Yun, honing his skills in Shaolin Kung Fu and Medicine. Coming from a of Kung Fu practitioners, his great grandfather Zhao Yu Fan served as the last empress of China's head bodyguard and a medical doctor. He became an indoor disciple of Xu Gong Wei while studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, he is recognized as a Shaolin Folk Master and holds a 7 Duan Wei from the Chinese Wushu Association.

32nd Generation Master Brett "Xing Wu" Russell

Instructed by Great Master Shi De Fon, lineage transmission disciple of Grand Master Shi Su Xi [Ex-President of the Shaolin Temple], and given the name Shi Xing Wu. After years of training, also meeting with other monk masters, Shi Xing Wu attained a very high level of Martial Arts. Master Shifu Shi Xing Wu is now ranked a 4th Duan Wei [Master Instructor] by the Chinese Wushu Association for Traditional Shaolin Temple Martial Arts and represents them in Australia. Master Shifu Shi Xing Wu has travelled the globe, learning, displaying and teaching Martial Arts and has gained worldwide recognition.

33rd Generation Shifu Conor "Yong Zhengfu" Moloney

Shifu Conor is the founder of Cremorne Shaolin Monk and a Doctor of Physiotherapy, bringing together traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and modern movement science. He has spent the past nine years training under Master Shifu Brett, developing both the physical skill and discipline that define authentic Shaolin practice.

Graduating with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University, Conor has helped a wide range of clients — from children to older adults — return to activity, rebuild confidence in their bodies, and live healthier, more active lives. His clinical background allows him to teach Kung Fu in a way that is safe, structured, and tailored to each individual. Shifu Conor offers training that is technically sound, results-driven, and grounded in a deep understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and heals.
